This Privacy Policy explains how Lock-N-Go ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Lock-N-Go mobile app and website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the parking service:

• Account details — your name, phone number, email address, and password when you register.
• Vehicle details — vehicle number and type (car/bike) so we can match you to the right parking slot.
• Booking & payment records — the parkings you book, entry/exit times, amounts, and booking status. Reservations are free; you pay on arrival (cash or in-app).
• Parking owner details — if you register as an owner: business/parking name, address, map location, pricing, slot counts, and verification documents (government ID and parking documents) you upload.
• Device & usage data — basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the Service.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate logins.
• To let you search, compare, reserve, and enter parking spaces (including generating your QR entry pass).
• To send bookings to the relevant parking owner and let owners verify entry.
• To verify parking owners and approve their listings.
• To provide support and to keep the Service safe and working.

3. Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as needed to provide the Service:

• With the parking owner you book with — your name, vehicle number, and booking details, so they can grant you entry.
• With service providers that host our database and infrastructure, under appropriate safeguards.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the Service.

4. Location data

The Service uses location to show parkings near you and to open directions in Google Maps. Map and directions features are powered by Google Maps and are subject to Google's policies. You can disable location permission in your device settings; some features may then be limited.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, your personal profile and vehicle data are removed as described below. Limited booking/transaction records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes, and are then deleted or anonymised.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and continuously improve our safeguards.

7. Your rights

You may access or update your profile details from within the app at any time. You may also request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by contacting us or using the account-deletion option below.

8. Account deletion

You can delete your Lock-N-Go account and associated personal data at any time:

• From the web: visit the Delete your account page and confirm with your login credentials.
• By request: email support@lock-n-go.in from your registered email and we will process the deletion.

9. Children

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and above and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
